"Clifford was the son of Sam and Lottie (Purdy) Huffmon. On June 20, 1948, he married Edith Crismore in Sumner, Missouri. She survives of the home. Clifford served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He resided in Bosworth, Mo., before moving to Sumner, Mo. He enjoyed farming, and was employed by Clem Schulter as a dozer operator for 25 years in Bosworth, Mo. He was a member of the Sumner American Legion.

He is survived by his wife Edith; five sons, Jerry Huffmon (Rosie) of Carrollton, Mo., Bobby Huffmon (Donna) of Sumner, Mo., Randy Huffmon (Susan) of Bosworth, Mo., Larry Huffmon (Peggy) of Fort Smith, Arkansas., and Gene Huffmon of Kansas City, Mo; one brother, Glen Huffmon (Sharon) of St Catherine, Mo.; four sisters, Juanita Jenkins of Bosworth, Mo., Mary Ann Skinner (Walter) of Kansas City, Mo., Jean Hunt (John) of Prairie Village, Ks., and Joyce Head (Dean) of Kansas City, Mo.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Junior Huffmon, Bill Huffmon, and a infant, J, W, Huffmon."

Services will be at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo on Sunday September 27, 2009 at 2.00 p.m. There will be a family visitation on Saturday September 26, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Sumner, Mo. Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo.
