Survivors include his wife, Sheila Scott of Hillsville; a son, Christopher McCraw of Hillsville; his mother and stepfather, Edra H. and Bill Turner of Laurel Fork; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Dewey Rowland of Lynchburg, Peggy and J. C. Willard of Meadows of Dan, and Tracy and David Allen of Roanoke; two nieces; and one nephew.
A funeral was held Sunday at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home with burial in the Reed Island Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor J. C. Willard Jr. officated.
