Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 15 for Travis Logan who died on Monday, April 14 in a local nursing home.
He was born in Gonzales on August 21, 1902 to Thomas Jefferson and Arizona Elizabeth Christian Logan. He was married to Lessie Mae Coor who preceded him in death on December 30, 1995.
Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law Helen Elizabeth and Joe Qualls of Gonzales; grandsons Joe Qualls, Jr. of Gonzales and John Lynn Jordan of Buffalo, New York.
Other survivors include nieces Estelle Travis of Canton; Nell Correu of Gonzales; Bernice Haschke of Victoria; Doris Whitener of Texarkana and Betty Thyssen of Port Lavaca; nephews Morris Logan and J. C. Logan of Gonzales.
Mr. Logan was a rancher and member of First United Methodist Church and Odd Fellows Lodge.
The Rev. Greg Hackett officiated at the service at Odd Fellows Cemetery under direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
