Basile – Funeral services for Mrs. Prosper Miller, 90, were to be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Jules Catholic Church in Tee-Mamou with Rev. Van Tiel officiating.
Burial was to be in the Reed Cemetery with the Segura Funeral Home in charge.
She died at 11:40 a.m. Friday at her home in Basile. She had been ill for 3 weeks.
Mrs. Miller was a lifelong resident of Acadia Parish and was the former Celanie Hebert.
Surviving are a son, Fernest Langley of Vinton, three daughters, Mrs. Christopher (Lucia Langley) Miller and Mrs. Damon (Celeste Langley) Reed, both of Tee Mamou and Mrs. Don Louis (Eugenie Miller) Hebert of Jennings; 21 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 43 great-great grandchildren.
