Addie never married. She was a dress-maker. She lived with her parents in 1900.

OBIT:

Mrs. Addie Rominger, aged 78, a life-long resident of Hope, died last evening at her home there which became acute several weeks after an illness of several months ago, since which time no hope had been held out for her recovery. Death was caused by leakage of the heart and asthma. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.

Miss Rominger was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Rominger, who settled in Hope from North Carolina many years ago and who have been dead for several years. She is the last surviving member of her family, and had lived alone for a number of years.

In December 1882, Miss Rominger joined the Moravian Church and was very active in it various departments until ill health intervened. She had charge of the Junior Christian Endeavor Society of the church for many years. In her early life Miss Rominger attended the Hope Moravian Seminary and the Hope Normal, both of which institutions were discontinued many years ago. She gave private lessons in German and in music and was a very intelligent and highly cultured woman, who had many friends in the community.
