Mr. Fred S.[sic] Everett and Miss Francis Elizabeth Sheehan were married at Canon City the seventh day of May by the Rev. Konkle of Canon, keeping it a secret about a month when they told the bride's mother and Christmas day they announced their marriage to their friends and other relatives. Mr. Everett is employed as bookkeeper in the Everett Bros. grocery store and is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. George G. Everett. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sheehan. Both the young people have lived in Salida all their lives. Their many friends extend their wishes for a long and happy married life. The happy couple are now living at the home of the bride's parents.

According to Freds' page, they had a son in 1917 named "Fred Fenton Everett Jr." They later divorced & he remarried. By her last name, I assume she remarried as well, but don't know his first name. In the newspaper article, they have his middle initial as being "S" when it's really "F." Frances was listed as "Fanny" in the 1910 census.
