Betty J. Heidtman

Our Mom left on October 4, 2009, to join her family in Heaven.

She was born September 27, 1924, in Liberty Center, OH to Ruth and John Barlow.

She was a woman who would do anything for anyone. Betty truly had a heart of gold and is going to be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She had worked at Auto Lite during the war as a "Rosie the Riveter" filling shell casings. She spent the next 31 years at Johns Manville working in numerous positions throughout the plant and making many lifelong friendships. She retired in 1987.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Patsy (Bob) Peneff and Mary (Herb) Eckhart; son, Time (Barb) Heidtman; sister, Helen Donnelly; and brother, Bub (Shirley) Barlow. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Denny Allshouse; sons, Terry and Rick Heidtman; sisters, Mary Kessler and Peggy Ann Lambert; brothers, Guy and Billy Barlow.
