Edna M. Payne, 75, a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, but most of all our best friend was called to her Heavenly home on March 4, 2001. She was born Dec 8, 1925.

She was retired from FAA Airman Certification Branch.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Thelma Armstrong and a son, James, Payne.

She is survived by Earl Payne, her husband of 53 years; 3 children, Earl Payne, Janice McCurley, and Judi Young; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Her faith was always strong. "He alone is y rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken." Ps. 62:16.

Services will be 2 p Wednesday arch 7, at Guardian West Chapel with interment to follow at Bethany Cemetery. Guardian West Funeral Services.
