Mrs. Rose stacy, 65, 1459 Dixie Hwy., was found dead at home Wednesday at 4:00 am. She had been ill for twelve years. She had made her home in the Hamilton area for the last four years.
Mrs. Stacy was born in Gifford, Kentucky, February 28th, 1896 a daughter of George and Martha May Rice. Her Husband Bud Stacy died in 1951.
She leaves five sons, Sgt. L.E. Stacy, U.S. Army, Guam; Lowell Stacy, West Liberty; Charles Stacy, Reily, Ohio; Bobby Stacy, Hamilton, Ohio; and Walter Stacy, Sandusky, Ohio; and two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Walls, Hamilton, Ohio; and Miss Doris Jean Stacy, Hamilton, Ohio.
She leaves two brothers, Luther Rice, Salyersville, Ky.; and Millard Rice, Greenup, Ky.; four sisters, Mrs. Hargis Fletcher, Salyersville, Ky.; Mrs. B.F. Whitt, Wheelersburg, Ohio; Mrs. W.P. Reed, Wheelersburg, Ohio and Mrs Goldie Fannin, Gifford, Ky.; 22 grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Services and burial Saturday will be in Salyersville, Ky. The Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., is in charge of local arrangements.
