Surviving Dorothy are a daughter, Kathryn Mary (Joel) Schultz of Osceola, IN; a son, John M. White of South Bend; a grandson, James Schultz; two sisters, Viola Cesavice of Mishawaka, IN, and Maryalice Parmley of South Bend; a brother, John (Dorothy) Frantom of New Carlisle, IN; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Frantom.
Dorothy was a nurse's aide in labor and delivery at St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. In her 30 years of service at the hospital she witnessed over 500 births and considered every one a miracle of God. She loved to read and was devoted to the Bible. Dorothy loved her family and extended family; she sent birthday cards to every family member and personalized each one. Dorothy was a loving and caring mother, grandmother who cherished her grandson, James, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly and sadly missed by all of those whose lives she touched.
