From Holland St. John - "Cecil was born in Conconully and attended grade school there and completed his schooling at Okanogan where he graduated with the class of 1921. He married Dorothy Orra Revore on April 1, 1926. They had five children: Eugene, Margaret, Gertrude Irene, Theodore and Clyde Richard. During the early part of WWII, he worked for the Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Richardson, Alaska. He returned to the forest service before the war ended. The family has lived at Omak, Conconully, Okanogan, Winthrop and Seattle. Failing health in later years complelled Cecil to live with his son Ted in California the year before he died. He died at the home of his eldest son Eugene in Cle Elum."
