Mr. Lonnie David Horton, age 54, born in Fairhope, AL and a resident of the Horseneck community of Bay Minette, Alabama died Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Thomas Hospital. He was a machine operator at Standard Furniture.
He is survived by: His wife: Patricia "Pat" (Milstead) Horton, Horseneck 2 children: Justin Lee Horton (Tara Nicole), Pensacola, FL Buffy Ann Johnson (David L.), Bay Minette, AL 2 brothers: Kenneth "Mutt" Wayne Horton, Stapleton, AL John "Butch" Horton, Rabun 2 sisters: Shirley Ann Voiles, Rabun Jackie Parker Marlow, AL 1 grandson: Tyler Blake Horton, Bay Minette, AL
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Full Power Holiness Church with Reverend Joe Welch and Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
The wake will be from 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 until the 11:00 a.m. service Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Full Power Holiness Church.

Lonnie David Horton, 54, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. The Bay Minette resident was a machine operator at Standard Furniture Co.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" Horton of the Horseneck Fork community; two children, Justin Lee Horton of Pensacola and Buffy Ann Johnson of Bay Minette; three brothers, Kenneth "Mutt" Wayne Horton of Stapleton, John "Butch" Horton of Rabun and John B. Horton Sr. of Texas; four sisters, Shirley Ann Voiles of Rabun, Jackie Parker of Marlow, and Anne Marie and Beverly Magtatws, both of Texas; and one grandson.
The funeral will be at
11 a.m. Wednesday at Full Power Holiness Church in Rabun. The Rev. Joe Welch and Sister Helen Stewart will officiate and burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at
6 p.m. today at the church, continuing until service time.
