GARVER, Carolyn A. (Brown) 102, of Springfield, formerly of Hartwell, Georgia, died on Saturday, June 11, 2005 in the Eaglewood Care Center. She was born on November 12, 1902 in Hartwell, Georgia the daughter of James Isham and Emma (Eavenson) Brown. She enjoyed many hobbies, such as sewing embroidery, crocheting, knitting, and spent many happy hours doing ceramics, even owning her own kiln. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family. She is survived by her son, Ward Mincer of Springfield, two grandchildren and their spouses: Gary and Tanya Mincer and Karen and Perry Williams both of Springfield; two great grandchildren, Sean Williams and Aaron Mincer; and two great-great grandchildren, Daltyn Mincer and James Mincer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles E. Garver; two sisters and seven brothers. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 10 a.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Burial of her urn will immediately follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
