Nelson Gerber, son of a prominent banker of Argenta and brother of Mrs. Charles S. Hankins of Decatur, was found dead on a street corner In Argenta about 6:45 o'clock Friday night. Gerber was a well educated young man and had been highly thought of in Argenta. He was about 33 years of age. He was seen on the streets during the latter part of the afternoon and was apparently well. He was crossing the street and had just reached Mitchell's corner where he dropped and was later found dead.
Gerber was born and raised in Argenta. He was well known in Decatur. Coroner Buxton was notified immediately and went to Argenta on the 7 o'clock train Saturday to hold the Inquest. After the evidence of the witnesses
the Jury returned a verdict to the effect that the young man came to his death by acute congestion of the brain.
