Man Dies Wed

Funeral for Mrs. A. C.
Boggs, Sr., 81, were held
from the Church of Christ
in Haskell Friday at 2 p.m.
with T. J. Finley, minister,
officiating. Burial was in
Willow Cemetery under di-
rection of Holden Funeral
Home of Haskell.
Mrs. Boggs died Wednes-
day, January 11, 1967, at
7:10 p.m. in the Haskell
County Hospital following a
four week illness.
She was born September
27, 1885 in Oakwood in Leon
County, Texas and married
A. C. Boggs, Sr. Feb. 4, 1906
in Oakwood. She was a mem-
ber of the Church of Christ.
Mr. and Mrs. Boggs mov-
ed to Haskell from Oakwood
in 1929.
Survivors include her hus-
band; three daughters, Mrs.
R. I. Johnson and Mrs.
Glenn Merchan. both of Has-
kell, and Mrs. C. E. Brasher
of Seymour; one son., A. C.
Boggs, Jr. of Munday; 14
grandchildren and 11 great-
grandchildren.
One son, Mahlon, pre-
ceded her in death July 28,
1966.

The headstone says Sallie was born in November but her obituary and her death certificate both say she was born in September.
