Mrs. Emma J. Abbey Of Madison Is Dead
Mrs. Emma J. Abbey passed away Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Adams, Jr., of Madison.
Besides Mrs. Adams the deceased is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Fern Craine, of Thompson, a son, George, of Geneva, two brothers, Elber and Elba Benjamin, of Thompson, and a sister, Mrs. Julia Pomeroy, of Thompson. The deceased was also the sister of the late Mrs. F.A. Turner, of Geneva.

MADISON
Rev. P.H. Metcalf conducted the funeral service for Mrs. Emma A. Abbey on Friday, November 16, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Adams, where she died after only a few days' illness. He read comforting Scripture selections, and gave beautiful poems on death while near was an object lesson enshrined in a bower of floral beauty and loveliness. Mesdames Rosa and Leatie sang that beautiful hymn, "Lead Me, Savior." A large number of relatives and friends, by their presence and gifts of flowers, paid a tribute of love to the dear mother and sister who had gone before. The interment was in the Painesville cemetery.
