Major League Baseball Player. He was an outfielder making his debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates on April 14, 1909. For eight seasons, he played with the Pittsburgh Pirates (1909), Cincinnati Reds (1909-10), Chicago Cubs (1912-13), St. Louis Terriers (1914-15), St. Louis Browns (1916-17) and batted over .300 three times (1909, 1912, 1915). He concluded his career with a record of 322 runs scored, 623 hits, 7 home runs, 221 runs batted and a .278 batting average.
