OBITUARIES ORRICE E. ADLER
A funeral Mass will be at noon Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Forest Grove for Orrice E. Adler, who died Feb. 6 at age 92.
Orrice E. Brown was born Feb. 15, 1910, in Portland and was raised in Ocean Side and Taft. She moved in 1926 to Forest Grove and graduated from Forest Grove High School and Pacific University. During World War II, she was a welder in the Oregon shipyards. She was a high school biology and English teacher in Seaside and Hillsboro, retiring from Hillsboro High School. She also owned Adler Fruit Farm for 55 years. In 1933, she married William E.; he died in 1979.
Survivors include her sons, James and Robert; sister, Emily Nabut; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
