This is Phillip H. Ashworth my mother's granddaddy. He was not born in 1850, that is an error. He was born on July 6, 1855 and I have proof of this from the Opelousas Catholic Church christening records.
His first wife was Artimese Landrum and they had two children before they divorced.
I am descended from Phillip's first born son, Hardy M. Ashworth (aka: Hardy Poimboeuf) (Surname was changed.)
