She was the daughter of Charles and Bertie Stout McClain. She passed away at her home east of Atoka. She married Samuel Wesley McGinty on Aug. 10, 1952 at Toledo, OR. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1990. They had two sons, Samuel and Freddie. Her siblings were Charles McClain, Bobbi Rains and Cassie Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth McGinty; grandson, Clinton McGinty; brother, J. C. McClain and sisters, Aylene Dawson, Jerlene Farley and Sybil Black.
