HENRY A. BAKER, PIONEER OF OKANOGAN, TAKEN
OMAK, Wash., Jan. 18 – Another Okanogan county pioneer, Henry H. Baker, 81, Omak, home Friday morning. He came to Omak 23 years ago and to Tunk valley in 1904 from Pulaski, Wis. He was born in Poland. In 1893 he married Clara Fuhrman at Pulaski and moved west shortly after the turn of the century. He was a member of the Christ the King Catholic church in Omak.
Surviving are his wife, five sons, Harry, Bernie, Ben, William and Frank, all of Omak; a daughter, Mrs. Lucy DeGrote, Omak; a brother, Frank, Pulaski; six grandchildren.
Rosary will be said Monday night at the Precht funeral home in Omak with the Rev, Father Georgen officiating. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at Christ the King church and burial will be in Okanoma cemetery.
