Services for Margaret Inez Tuggle, 91, of Cairo, Georgia, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2009, at Pine Level Baptist Church, Cairo, Georgia, with interment following in the church cemetery. Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate and her nephews will serve as active pallbearers. Miss Tuggle passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2009, at Golden Living Center in Thomasville, Georgia.
Born November 23, 1917, in Grady County Georgia, she was a daughter of the late J. W. and Ruby Hester Tuggle. She was a clerical employee with the Grady County Court House and a member of Pine Level Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Agnes Prince, Faceville, Georgia, Martha Williford, Atlanta, Georgia, Shirley Bennett, Cairo, Georgia, Ruby Barrett, Cairo, Georgia, and Linda Counts of California; brother, James F. Tuggle, Cairo, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. W. and Ruby Hester Tuggle, a brother, Milton W. Tuggle, sisters, Worbie Sellers and Helen Smith.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Clark Funeral Home
