Teresa Ann (Grace) McNamara died August 4, 1971
Mrs. Teresa Ann (Grace) McNamara, 102, died at St. Ann's Hospital in Winona on Wednesday.
Born in Goodhue County Jan. 1, 1869, she was the daughter of Patrick and Julia (Lawless Cavanaugh) Malloy. She grew up, attended schools and spent her life in the Belle Creek area except for living with her daughter, Cecilia, in Rochester from 1944 to 1962, and since then at the hospice.
She was married to Michael McNamara Nov. 13, 1889, at Belle Creek. He preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1938. She was a member of St. Columbkill's Catholic Church of Belle Creek.
Surviving are one son, Raymond of Belle Creek; two daughters, Mrs. David (Theresa) Franklin of Goodhue and Cecilia McNamara of Rochester, and 19 grandchildren and 86 great grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Columbkill's Catholic Church in Belle Creek with the Rev. Fr. Bruce Peterson officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Ferrin Funeral Chapel until 9 p.m. today."
