Death of W. D. Asher
Walter David Asher, son of Edward and Sarah Asher was born in Livingston county, Mo., November 5 [sic], 18, 1882, died at his home in Adair County, Mo., March 27, 1928, age at death 45 years, 4 months, and 9 days. after only a few hours of sickness.
He was united in marriage to Miss Goldie May, April 4, 1924 and to this union was born two children, Virginia Fern, and Orville Edward. He leaves to mourn their loss besides wife and children, two brothers, Arthur Asher of Buhl, Idaho, Eugene Asher, Gifford, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Love of Gifford and Mrs. S. Sancher of New Orleans; besides a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Winigan Baptist church, March 30, conducted by Rev. R. B. Turner, of Gifford, Mo. Burial was in the Winigan cemetery.
