Died at 4:15 p.m. Monday at Dixon Memorial Hospital, Denham Springs. A native of Livingston Parish and a resident of Satsuma, he was 74. He was a veteran of World War I. Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 11 a.m. Tuesday to 10 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services at Coyell Pentecostal Church at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Delmas Taylor officiating. Burial in Palmetto Cemetery, Walker.

Survivors include his wife, Lottie W. Durbin; a son, Warren (Tommie) Durbin, Baton Rouge; two stepsons, Clarence Mitchell, Denham Springs, and Roy Mitchell, Hammond; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Jeneva Neal, Doyle; two brothers, Angus Durbin and Fieldon Durbin, both of Hammond; four grandchildren, Mervin, Roy, Warren T. and Dennis Clay Durbin, and a great-granddaughter, Donnyell Rene Durbin.

He was a member of Coyell Pentecostal Church and Ellis-Facundus American Legion Post 178, Denham Springs.
