Born 08 January 1898 in Fort Deposit, Alabama, she was the daughter of Albert and Biddie Merriweather. She was a member of Mt Olive Baptist Church, Alabaster. Preceded in death by her husband, Lee H Wooley, eight sisters, three brothers, and most recently a devoted and loving daughter-in-law, M L Shepheard. She is survived by a son S Shephead; daughters A Bundy, Poughkepsie, NY; R Thomas, Alabaster; R Bust of Vincent; 12 granddaughters, 11 grandsons, 23 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday night,November 16 from 6 to 8:30pm at Mt Olive Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17, at 11:00 am at Mt Olive Baptist Church, Alabaster. Burial in the Abby Wooley Cemetery, Alabaster. Rev RW Davis officiating. Poole Funeral Chapel, Inc, Birmingham, AL directing.
