Mrs. Elizabeth Bush, of near Sprankle Mills, died Sunday afternoon in the Punxsutawney Hospital after an operation at the age of 47 years. She had been ill about one week.
The deceased was born in Perry Township, a daughter of Henry and Mary[sic] Hinterleiter, and was united in marriage to Jacob Bush when a young woman. She had lived in Perry Township practically her entire life. A member of the Reformed Church, a splendid wife, mother and daughter, her death is sincerely mourned.
She leaves her husband and three children,
~ Clara[sic],
~ Helen ,
~ Howard, at home,
and the following brothers and sisters:
~ Charles Hinterleiter of Dayton;
~ Wilson ,
~ Dallas [both]of Grange;
~ Saul of Ernest;
~ Mrs. Joseph Sheesley of Reynoldsville;
~ Mrs. James Bush of Brookville ;
~ Mrs. Edward Raybuck of Struthers,Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning beginning at 10 o'clock in the St. John's Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Nelson will officiate.

A daughter of Henry & Margaret Ann Shaffer Hinderliter.
She & her husband, Jacob G. Bush were married sometime between 1900 & 1903. They were the parents of these known children:
~ Howard L. Bush;
~ H.Clair Bush ;
~ Henry C. Bush.
~ A fourth child is currently unaccounted for.
The spelling of Hinterliter was changed at some point in time to Hinderliter & this "new" spelling is used by most family members now. At the time of Elizabeth's death, she was still using the "old" spelling, but some of her siblings had started using the "new" spelling.
