Helena "Lena", 1882-1963Mary Ann Elizabeth "Winnie" Wilson, born 1 April 1841 in Jefferson County, MO, , was the 9th of 11 children of Jacob Justus "Jake" Wilson and Elizabeth "Winnie" Couch Wilson. When She was four, Winnie's mother died, and kshe and her sisters Amelia Ann "Milly Ann" Wilson and Catherine Wilson , were sent to live with their oldest sister, Adaline Wilson McKay and her husband, Rev. William Ruen McKay, where the three younger sister lived for the rest of their childhoods. On 23 Jan. 1859, Winnie Wilson married Doctor Franklin McKee and went to live on his farm near Victoria. They had nine children. Winnie was a charter member of the Hematite Christian Church and took a prominent part in establishing the church in Victoria, as well as in building a church edeifice at Hematite where the next five generationsof the family became members. She died 15 April 1925, and is buried in Victoria Cemetery, alon with her hysbandWinnie and Doc's children are listed below:
