Clyde W. Allington, 79, of Caldwell, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 1991, at a Boise are center. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 1, at Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa. Pastor Everest Zediker of the Memorial Park Baptist Church, Caldwell, will officiate. Private family burial will follow at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa.
Clyde was born April 7, 1911, at Mankato, Kan., to William and Jennie Allington. He married Alene Stoh in May 1935 and they had three children. In 1959 he married Catherine Timm and had two daughters. Clyde was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad as a brakeman until his retirement.
His family who loved him will miss his wonderful and witty personality.
Survivors include his children, Leonard Allington of Bend, Ore., Clydette Newbold of Meridian, Jeanette Ozuna of Burley, Idaho, and Saxon Hernandez of Nampa; three sisters, Irene Porter of Caldwell, Ruby Ostrander of Tacoma, Wash., and Pearl Gleason of Fullerton, Neb.; two brothers, Orville Allington of Caldwell and Glen Allington of Fullerton; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine; a daughter, Judith Allington Ruzicka; two brother; and two sisters.
