Charles F. BANNON who formerly lived on the farm north of town now owned by Willie WIATT died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cecil WALKER in Indianapolis on Sunday evening. The body was brought here to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alva SMITH. Funeral services at Freedom on Tuesday were in charge of Rev. HH Elmore . Mr. Bannon was born in Parke County Dec 17, 1863. He married Miss Mollie LANE now dead and is survived by five children: Eldo of Parkersburg; Ernest of Alamo; Ivan of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Walker of Indianapolis and Mrs. Alva Smith of this place.
