He was born June 5, 1903 near Corning, a son of Arthur and Ada Waltz Stickles and married Cora Davis on March 12, 1928. He was employed by Benton County in the road department.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons, Charles A. of Fairfield and Russell W. Jr. of Vinton; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (LaVonn) Johnson and Mrs. Jack (Dixie) Wayson of
Vinton and Mrs Curtis (Billie) Jans of Dysart, his mother of Orient, one sister, Mrs. Joe Guzman of Santa Barbara, Calif , one brother. Max of Afton, 10 grandchildren He was preceded in death by one grandson and one sister.
