Lance Boston of Sayre Is Dead
Lance Boston of 101 Johnson avenue, Sayre died in the Tioga County General hospital at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon after a short illness. A resident of Sayre for over 25 years, he was 73 years old.
Besides his wife, Minta he is survived by a son, Ivan of Syracuse; three brothers, M.K. Boston of Sayre, James Boston of Elmira, and Fred Boston of Sayre; one sister, Mrs. Lina Lott of Waukeegan, Ill. and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Church of West Sayre, of the Federated Bible class of that church, and of the Waverly lodge, Loyal Order of Moose.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Powers funeral home in Athens at 2 o'clockFriday afternoon. Burial will be in Tioga Point cemetery. Rev. Floyd Randall of Indiana, Pa., former pastor of the Church of Christ, West Sayre, will officiate.
