Waterloo Pilot Dies In Flight Over Home Town
JANESVILLE, Iowa An airplane flight over his former home town ended in death late Friday for Glenn Goodsell, 29, Waterloo pilot, when the plane he was piloting crashed to earth from a low altitude.
The plane was so badly smashed it was necessary to tear it apart to release the body of the pilot. Goodsell's neck was broken and his chest crushed He died shortly after being removed from the wreckage Persons who had been watching him said he was doing some minor stunting and his plane went into a spin after he had completed a loop.
Survivors include his widow and parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Goodsell of Janesville.
