James John Klice of 122 Main St. died Monday (July 17, 2006) at his home.

Born February 12, 1952 in Olean, NY he was the son of James B. and Nina Guyer Klice.

Mr. Klice was raised in Allegany and was a 1970 graduate of Allegany High School. He had resided in Holland for the past 30 years where he first worked for Fisher Price Co. in East Aurora and most recently as a truck driver for Draper Trucking in Holland.

He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local #449 and had attended the First Baptist Church of Holland. He always enjoyed being active with projects and was especially clever at fixing anything. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a hard worker who enjoyed cutting firewood, being outdoors, had a love for animals and for his CB handle "Bullet".

Surviving are 2 sisters Nancy (Russ Dahlem) Hanley of Cincinnati, OH and Diane (Bob) Wenke of Olean; 5 nephews James Davis Klice, Darrin LeRoy Klice, Brendon Michael Hanley, Roger Matthew Wenke and Trevor John Wenke, several cousins and many very close friends. He loved his two favorite Yellow Labrador dogs, each named "Bullet" one of which he owned years ago.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother LeRoy Klice in 1979.

Friends will be received at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home 3128 W. State Rd. Olean on Saturday (July 22, 2006) from 9:00am until time of services at 11:00am. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
