TERRIBLE CONFLAGRATION IN MECHANICSBURG. - A Sunday Night Visit from the Incendiary in the Shape of a $20,000 Fire. - Our sister town of Mechanicsburg was visited on Sunday night with the most destructive fire ever witnessed within the borough limits. Between 11 and 12 o'clock the alarm was given and son became general.

Of course the contents of the different stables, excepting in the hotel stable, were consumed, and in the first building build, Mr. Harry Ewalt lost a valuable young horse, a new phaeton, buggy, spring wagon, sleigh, and harness.

A sad feature of the whole affair was the removal of the corpse of Mr. Harry Ewalt, a most exemplary citizen of that borough, who had died on Saturday evening at half-past eight, from his residence, directly opposite the burning buildings on Main street (sic), to the Merchants hotel (sic).
