He was born in Eufaula, Ala. and resided in St. Augustine since 1967. He was founder and president of AG Products in Hastings. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, St. Augustine, where he served as youth coordinator, administrative council chairman and Sunday School superintendent. He was also a veteran of U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Ward; sisters, Evelyn Blackburn of Chapel Hill, N.C., Helen Saliba of Memphis, Tenn.; Sarah Shulls of Little Rock, Ark., Robbie Thomas of Columbus, Ga., Anne Michie of Cary, N.C., and Mildred Carpenter of Avon Park, and four grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, St. Augustine, with Rev. Dwight McQueen and Rev. Charles Bruce officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park, St. Augustine.
