Joseph Abner Davidson died at Horton, Kansas, at age 35. He was born at Elk City, in Montgomery County, to Henry Francis and Jane Brown Davidson. He served as a soldier in France with Company "K," 352d Infantry in the 88th Division.

He married Johanna Brackhahn, granddaughter of Ernest and Sophie Brackhahn of Falls City, Nebraska on August 21, 1922. They had two children.

Survived by his wife and children, his mother, Mrs. H. F. Davidson, five brothers and three sisters: Mrs. Emmett Wheeler and James B. Davidson of Horton, John H. Davidson of Ponca City, Okla., Miss Maude of Horton, Roy of Whiting, Chester of St. Louis, and Miss Treva of Horton.

Services: Methodist Episcopal Church in Whiting, Thursday, September 13. Burial: Spring Hill Cemetery, Whiting, Kansas.
