Mr. Hobbs died Wednesday August 20, 2003 in Monroe, LA. Mr. Hobbs was a retired farmer, and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II.
Mr. Hobbs was preceded in death by his parents, Homer & Nora Caples Hobbs, a brother, James Victor Hobbs, and a sister, Opal Winslow.
Survivors include daughter: Phyllis Boggs and husband Jackie, Farmerville, LA; son, Gary Hobbs and wife Theresa, West Monroe; sister; Claudine Hogge, West Monroe; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
