Services for Martha Jean Littlefield, 75, Overton, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Thursday, September 24, at the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, Overton with the Reverend Brandon Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Overton City Cemetery.
Mrs. Littlefield died Monday, September 21, 2009 in Overton. She was born December 8, 1933, in Henderson to the late Everett Tyson Sutton and Rena Martha Sutton. She was a lifetime resident of Overton and was a homemaker and a member of the Overton Missionary Baptist Church.
She married Bill Littlefield in Leverett's Chapel, March 22, 1952.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karla Ann McDade and a grandson, Benjamin Kyle McDade.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bill Littlefield, Overton; a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Sherry Littlefield, Overton; two granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, April Littlefield and Crystal Davis and Reverend Brandon Davis, all of Overton; a brother, Virgil Sutton, Overton; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Clay Jackson, Mark Smires, Jimmy Smires, Mike Smires, Ricky Littlefield, and Scotty Moore.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Rondell Duncan, Jeff Littlefield, and Wallace Moore, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 23.
