Mrs. Sadie Ann Beck, wife of J. F. Beck of N. Fourth street, died at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, September 25, following an illness of six weeks. She had been unconsious most of the time and was in a very critical condition for several days preceeding her death.

Mrs. Beck was the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Qualls, and was born in Arkansas, December 26, 1874, and was 56 years and 9 months old at the time of her death. Mrs. Beck has resided in Missouri for 40 years and had been a resident of Monett for 20 years. Besides the husband, Mrs Beck is survived by her mother, Mrs. G. W. Qualls, and four children, namely: Mrs. Hallie Keeton, of Oklahoma City; Walter Beck, of Enid, Okla.; Ray Beck of the home address and Mrs. Edward A. Shideler, Monett. One son, George Beck died at the age of 8 years. Six grandchildren
also survive. Mrs. Keeton has been here since her mother was taken ill and Walter Beck of Enid, arrived Friday morning. The funeral will be held Saturday, September 27, under the direction of the Bradford Undertaking establishment. The services will be held at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist Protestant church, conducted by the Rev. Wm. Hines, of Aurora. Interment will be made in the IOOF cemetery.
