Roy P. Casto, 85, of Sissonville passed away October 1, 2009, at home after a brief illness.
Roy was a Marine Corps veteran and retired from Foster-Creighton, having worked as a mechanic. He was a life member of the VFW.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Hilda Casto.

Left to cherish his memory are loving wife of 59 years, Nettie Casto at home; children, Michael Casto of Milton, David Casto, and Donna Bridgette and husband, Gary, all of Sissonville; sisters, Wilma Fisher, Loretta Reese and her husband, Claude, and Macel Miller and her husband, Charles, all of Sissonville, and Ruby Jean Miller and her husband, Donald, of Charleston; brother, Gilbert Casto and his wife, Doris, of Sissonville; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Sunday, October 4, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with Jerald W. Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25312.
