Funeral servives for Frank Rushing was held Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Homer Mercer, Sondheimer conducting the rites. Interment was in the Lake Providence Cemetery.
Mr. Rushing dropped dead when he left the porch of the home to talk to an aquaintance.
Born July 19, 1874, Morton, Miss. Mr Rushing came to Lake Providence in 1927.
Surviving are the widow, five daughters, Mrs Jack Calhoun, Roosevelt; Mrs. A.F. Thompson, Oak Grove; Mrs Millard Ellis, Lake Providence; Mrs. Lela Williams, Shreveport; Mrs Cecil Cook, Lake Providence and four sons,Ernest and Joe Rushing of Lake Providence and Claude and Roy Rushing of Transylania.
