Funeral services for H. F. Apking, 73, of Lincoln, who died Sunday, were held this Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron. Interment was in the Bruning Cemetery.
Mr. Apking was a retired telephone worker. He was a member of the Lutheran church at Hebron and the Independent Telephone Pioneers.
Born in Germany, Mr. Apking moved to Nebraska 69 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Marianne; two sons, George of Alexandria and Edgar of Ord; a daughter, Mrs. James Morrison of Lincoln; a brother, Henry of Winside; a sister, Mrs. Herman Pape of Phillipsburg, Mo.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
