Ida married Willie Bruce Pate, after the death of his first wife Myrtie Peace in 1911.
Willie and Ida had the following children:
R.C., Pershing, Arvel, William Aden, Oleta, Willie Day, Laverne, Lemurel, and Orine Pate.
R.C., is buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Pershing, was killed in Normady, France during WW II, and is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Arvel, is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
William Aden, is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
