Joan C. (Covington) Fellers, born Jan. 19, 1924, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 18, 2009.
Joan's parents, now deceased, were William Alonso and Arminta Mae (Simpson) Covington of Altus.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Hubert Fellers.
She is survived by their children, daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Larry Lemmon, son, Jimmy Fellers, and daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Jane and Michael W. White. Her living grandchildren and great-grandchildren are Michael Lemmon and wife Paige Makoski, Jennifer Lemmon Uzmann and husband Joseph and son Jackson Thomas Uzmann, Christopher B. White and wife Erin Hasty White, Kevin B. White and wife Tamera Phillips White, Melissa Renee Fellers and husband Aurelio Adrian Cruz, and Erin Fellers Sawyer and son Cody Sawyer.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
