Jordan was the son of Stephen Henry and Elizabeth J. (Morris) Treat. He was married three times:
1. Mary Jo Belle Lawrence. They had one child,
James Franklin b. 1 August 1882 in Baxter Co., Arkansas and died 7 November 1966 in Talihina.
2. Sarah Louise Huffines
They had no children
3. Minerva Isophen Huffines (sister to Sarah).
Both were daughters of William Henderson and
Manerva (Sisk) Huffines.
One child: Ida Mae b. 21 October 1913 in Arkansas.
