He was born July 10th, 1932 in Jackson, Tenn., the son of Stinson and Maude Brooks Alexander. He attended the Braggadocio School.
He was employed by the Caruthersville Shipyards. He married Lorene Brock December 26th, 1950 in Piggott, Ark.
Survivors include his parents of Saltillo, Tenn.; his wife, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Sharon Grady and Mrs. Joanie Meador, both of Caruthersville; two brothers, Jerry Alexander of Oceanside, Calif. and Jimmy Alexander of Hayti; one sister, Mrs. Joan Waller of Wichita, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Randy Tomlin, Luther Jackson, Jerry Alexander, Melvin Cecil, Finis Archer, Jackie Overby, Jimmy Alexander and Billy Brock.

ALEXANDER'S DEATH IS RULED SUICIDE
Pemiscot County Coroner Joe Joyner had ruled that the September 26th shooting death of Willie Alexander, 43, of 1202 Grand, Caruthersville was suicide, according to the Pemiscot County Sherriff's Office.
Alexander was found shot in the chest with a shotgun at his home and was dead on arrival at the hospital in Hayti. Sn investigation that lasted a week ended last Monday when Joyner ruled Alexander took his own life.
The man was found lying on his left side between the living room and the kitchen. His wife and another couple were also in the home when Caruthersville Police arrived at the scene.
