John Jerome Stasi, 91, of Northeast Kansas City, Missouri, died on October 20, 2005. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Rocco and Lucy Stasi. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eleanor (Santache) Stasi; brothers, Joe and Victor Stasi; sisters, Cary Stasi, Mary Theresa "Molly" Donnici, Angeline Danzo; and grandson, Jack Nicholas Stasi. As a young man, he worked at the American Beauty Macaroni Factory where he met his wife. He also played professional and semi-pro baseball. He later worked at the City Market for twenty years. With his brothers, he owned Stasi Brothers Bar on 12th and Charlotte in Kansas City, Missouri. Later, he was the proprietor of Dutch Hill Tavern at 25th and Holmes in Kansas City. He was survived by his son, two daughters, thirteeen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
