Myron was born in Massachusetts to Levi Alex and Eiza Ann Damon. Married to Maggie Churchman and father of Henry S. Damon and Melville Leroy "Roy" Damon.
Myron came to California in 1860 with his family. They lived on George Burbank's Tomalas Point Ranch. Myron married Margaret A. Churchman in 1883 & divorced in 1909. They had two sons. Myron was the Superintendent of Santa Rosa Sewer Farm on Sebastopol Road. He was involved with the mapping & installation of city sewer lines. Following his divorce from Margaret, Myron sought help at the St. Helena Sanitarium. He opened a key shop in St. Helena. Myron's final move was to Guerneville where he worked as a Carpenter.
