"MRS. A. L. CIRCLE

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home, Bethany, for Mrs. A. L. Circle, 90. She died Tuesday afternoon in the home of her son, Earl Circle, 923 NW 9. Burial will be in Alva Cemetery at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Circle and her husband, the late Andrew L. Circle, came to Oklahoma from Kansas when the Cherokee Strip was opened. They settled near Alva, where Circle operated a transfer business.

She came to Oklahoma City nine years ago to live with her son. Other survivors include three sons, Harry, Waynoka; Bud, Woodward, and Joe Wisdom, Calif., a daughter, Mrs. Walter Beveridge, Vallejo, Calif., four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren."

"CIRCLE SERVICE TO BE THURSDAY

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Alva Municipal Cemetery for Mrs. A. L. Circle, former Alva pioneer resident who died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday in Oklahoma City at the home of her son, E. A. Circle.

Mrs. Circle, who was 90 years old, came to Alva at the opening of the Cherokee Strip, and lived here until about eight years ago. She then moved to Oklahoma City to make her home with her son.

Besides E. A. Circle, survivors include three other sons, H. M. Circle of Waynoka, Joe Circle of Oakland, Calif., and A. H. Circle of Woodward, and one daughter, Mrs. W. T. Beveridge of Vallejo, Calif."

"Circle Rites To Be Thursday

Funeral services will be held this morning (Thursday) in Bethany for Mrs. A. L. Circle who died Tuesday morning at her home there. Burial will be made in the Alva cemetery with a graveside service at 3:30 o'clock.

She was born in Greenbrier, West Virginia in 1858. With her husband she came to Oklahoma at the opening of the Cherokee Strip and settled in Alva, moving from there to Oklahoma City in 1940.

She is survived by three sons, Harry, Bud and Earl, a daughter, Mrs. Walter Beveride, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."
